Aladdin Mantle Shelf lamp with '20s diamond square glass bowl F*S*2 Airguide barometer in the early '90sThis was my Mother's mid 20th century Aladdin Mantle Shelf lamp, and a lovely example of Industrial Age workmanship. She was born in 1923, and she used to tell me how she remember her childhood before they had electricity. This is one of the lamps she used and grew up with in French Acadian Louisiana. This Aladdin has a 20s vintage "diamond square glass" pattern molded in the bowl. It is fitted with a brass MaxBrite 500 series burner and hardware. The
