Original Swiss Cold War Era SIG STGW57 Steel Training Rifle & Sling Era:Cold War "more or less perfectSwiss training dummy rifle, modeled after the SIG STGW 57, or the Sturmgewehr 1957. It was the standard assault rifle of the Swiss Army in caliber 7. 5 55 mm in the second half of the 20th century. It was introduced in 1959 1960 and replaced in the 1990s by the SIG 550. The training rifle is completely made from metal besides the sling, which is leather. This is one of the heaviest training rifles out there, and is built with a rotating carry handle.
